What is the god image? We all have an image of god or who we think he is. There are many factors that shape our internal idea of who we think God is. Our image of God is not actually, God. Its important to take our personal god construction project seriously and with a grain of salt at the same time. Two people in the same religious community will have large variations of how they believe god to be. No matter how much people choose to align themselves with on group’s vision of God, they will see him different. As this blog takes shape I hope to address the various factors in part that go into shaping our internal portraits of God. It is important we understand what we actually believe, that we hear our images of this god mirrored back to us, so that we can learn to possibly align our ideas about God with the reality of who God really is.
